Last weekend we spent one day at the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach. It was so cool to see some of those pros surfing like that. And despite the enormous crowd of people, we had a good time. It was a unique thing to see.

We have really enjoyed riding our bikes on the path that follows the beach. It is just nice and relaxing to ride on the beach like that. And my rear end is getting used to the seat again.

My brother Rollie and his wife Heidie are expecting their first baby at the first of the year and they just announced that it is a girl. I am so excited for them. My parents haven't had a new granddaughter for 17 years. My nieces, Crysta and Joe'E will both be high school seniors this year. So the new little girl will be a nice addition to our family.
