I have been home for about a week now and I have been so busy getting caught up. The trip home was wonderful. We really didn't do anything special but it was nice visiting with the family. It was nice just to relax. It's too bad we didn't have better weather. It was cold and snowy most of the time. We had one good weather day on Sunday before we left so we actually got to be outside for a few hours. Mykah, our new nephew is way cute and he got the Bitter dimples. So cute! Alden's dad's new truck is great and Alden thought he needed to drive it everywhere we went. Chrissy and her family are doing good. Her youngest son, Shane, is so funny. He will be 2 in June and even though I haven't been around a lot, he still seems to remember me. He won't even go to his mom while I am there. Even if he is hurt. My dad has a new Yamaha Rhino and is so proud to show it off. He says it is better than his last one, but it was only a year old. He's too funny with his toys.

On the way home Alden and I stopped at an outlet mall to look for a Mikasa store. (The one in Park City closed or moved.) Well, they didn't have one but Alden asked if I wanted to look at jewelery. I said sure, since I love jewelery and I wanted to be out of the car for a few more minutes. So Alden looked at the map of the stores and found one and it turned out to be a diamond jewelery store and we preceded to look at diamond rings! I was so excited. We looked at a few and I tried one on. It was beautiful. Alden asked lots of questions and we left. I'm totally not holding my breath for a proposal, but this was a big step for him. Yes, the magic number is 28 and he will be 28 on July 24th.

This past weekend, for my birthday, Alden got us a really nice hotel room with a jetted bath tub. We ordered in dinner and had a relaxing time. He had the room decorated with candles and a dozen pink roses. He can be so romantic sometimes.

Work is going good, just busy. I think I am finally caught up. I am hoping my crazy patient gets discharged today so I can have a good week.

Drama

So I was working with a lady at work the other day. Everything was going pretty good. She was being cooperative, but a little lazy and I was helping her get out of bed. Then all of a sudden she dug her fingernails into my wrist. At first I thought she did it on accident but she didn't let go! I had to tell her "Let go of me now!" I immediately covered her back up and put up the bed rails and went to her nurse. He informed me that I had to go to the ER because the patient was positive for hepatitis C. So to make a long story, short, I had some blood work done just in case but the doctor basically said that since she didn't break the skin, I have almost no chance of getting Hep C. That was all on Thursday and today I still have the fingernail marks in my wrist. So crazy. I'm fine and there is nothing to worry about. I was shocked because she was being so calm that I didn't see it coming. That is one messed up lady. Luckily Ted discharged her right away and I don't ever have to see her again. So that was my drama for the week. Nothing else is really going on. We are just packing for our trip home and trying not to forget anything. We will be going to Idaho Falls first, April 5-9th and then off to Evanston until we drive home on the 14th.
